Welcome to StaceyCooks.com and thank you for visiting my cooking blog!  My name is Stacey DeHass and I am a chef from rural Ohio.  Cooking is my passion and I love to experiment with new recipes and techniques on my family and friends.  My days are spent testing and tasting any new idea that I can dream up- literally I dream of food and some of my greatest ideas come to me in my sleep!  

I am excited to create and share new recipes with everyone… basically anything that comes to my mind!  I hope you will find my style of cooking simple, and approachable.  I look forward to posting recipes and ideas that will inspire you to cook for your family and friends.

My little brother, Brodie, is a Certified Master Auto Technician. He is also the first in line to try all fo ym new recipes-- Good of Bad!

My boyfriend, Aaron, is the newest member of the "taste testing team". Many of my recipes are tested in his kitchen and I think he likes having a girlfriend who is a chef!
